INTRODUCTION

Casting seals are designed to prevent electrolytes from in the annular space between a carrier pipe and casting. The seals are made from a specially compounded synthetic rubber and are resistant to most acids, alkalis, and other chemicals commonly found in soils.

APPLICATION:

Casting seals can be used in numerous environments to provide long-life corrosion protection and are available in a variety of diameters and different configurations. They can be used with steel, cast iron, and copper pipe , as well as thin wall conduit. Fireproof casting are available for situations requiring fire tetention. All casting seals have stainless steel bands and clamps and require no special tools for installation.
