As the standing executive council member of China Chamber of Commerce of Metals & Minerals & Chemicals Importers & Exporters and China Chamber of Commerce of Machinery & Electronics Products Importers & Exporters, ZJMTD has been given the franchise to trade in the commodity such as steel, coal, metal scrap, waste paper, hazardous chemicals, fluorspar and firearms. In 2008, its import and export volume exceeded 360 million U.S. Dollars and entrepot trade amounted to 80 Million U.S. Dollars. ZJMTD has registered six trading companies respectively in USA, Germany, Russia, Hungary, Nigeria and Brazil. Meanwhile, it has invested in 17 subsidiaries in 7 cities including Hangzhou, Ningbo, Jiaxing, Wenzhou, Shenzhen, which are widely engaged in the manufacturing of metal products, the importing and exporting, the logistics, the domestic trading and the real estate management.
