In 1980, TWT cooperated with Germany Marker Company, an internationally famous valve manufacturer, to develop new products like butterfly valves series products, and became the first butterfly valve manufacturer in China, as well as the originator of development and manufacture of butterfly valve products in Chinese valve industry.
In 1994, Sino-US Joint Venture was founded. TWT became a large and international manufacture enterprise and was awarded as "the most customer preference enterprise" among national large and medium companies for urban water supply in China, and the only "process management excellent enterprise" by the Ministry of Machine Building Industry, a deputy director unit of national valve industry, and our market share ranked No. 1 in China.
In 1996, TWT conducted technical exchanges with Japan Kubota manufacturer to jointly develop new products and improve key technical performance indexes.
At the early of 2007, TWTs American Solely Owned Holding Factory has become our main global manufacture center.
At the end of 2008, Common Electric (Hong Kong) holdings Limited, in order to develop its business in China, had invested hundreds of millions of Hong Kong dollars in to expand TWT's manufacture capacity and also heavily invested in to set up a large R and D and testing center to make TWT ahead in global valve manufacture industry.
