PBO Felt Pad

1. PBO Felt Pad is exclusively used for product outlet of extraordinarily high temperature and is commonly used at the furnace mouth of the machines.

2. It is composed of PBO, Kevlar and one layer of Kevlar Base Fabric, making it harder to extend with stronger tension. Moreover, two kinds of materials fused together make the cost lower and the method of application more convenient.

3. PBO Felt Pad can effectively withstand up to 600-degree Celsius and 500-degree Celsius on average, offering sufficient protection to the oven-fresh aluminum strips.

4. POB fibre is imported from TOYOBO, Japan, the sole supplier of PBO commercially produced in the world. Kevlar fibre is imported from DUPONT, the USA. Both of them are thermosetting and will not fuse or pollute the aluminum profile. Withstanding a peak 500-degree Celsius, Kevlar Base Fabric only prolongs 1% with 25N/mm.

5. Kindly Reminder: the service life of our felt products are influenced by the temperature and weight of aluminum profile as well as the friction between them.

 P.S. When placing an order, please mark out the details of thickness, e.g. 2+6, 2+8, 3+7, 4+6. The former means the proportion of PBO and the latter of Kevlar.
