1.Abstract:
Spherical plain bearings have an inner ring with a sphered convex outside diameter and an outer ring with a correspondingly sphered but concave inside surface. This design makes them particularly suitable for bearing arrangements where alignment movements between shaft and housing have to be accommodated, or where oscillating or recurrent titling or slewing movements must be permitted at relatively slow sliding speeds.

1)Spherical plain bearings are designed in almost the same way as deep groove ball bearings, except that the outer ring is spherical. Their design allows the bearings to be easily mounted in a housing block and be self-aligning
