AHC Benelux BV

AHC Benelux B.V. is part of the Group Material Technology of Aalberts Industries and has its facilities in Eindhoven and Venlo.

This group consists of independently operating, affiliated companies in the fields of heat and surface treatments. Together, we make up an extensive network which meets all requirements relating to upgrading materials and components. Thanks to an excellent cooperation amongst the individual sites, the Group Material Technology is now Europe’s leading supplier of functional processes and it is our aim to continue expanding this network throughout Europe.

Our facility in Eindhoven is specialized in electroplating, electroless nickel and synergetic coatings. With the use of 8 production lines, a various range of processes are running 24 hours per day parallel. This ensure a high degree of flexibility.

AHC in Venlo has large, fully-automated lines and focuses primarily on technical and hard anodizing, synergetic coatings, electroless nickel on steel as well as on specific treatments such as chromic acid anodizing, chromating and lacquering. At this facility we offer also a large number of different diameters of hard anodized aluminum pneumatic tubes.

Both facilities have ISO 9001 : 2008 and ISO 14001. As AHC in Venlo is active in the automotive industry this facility is also certified according ISO TS 16949.

In total we employ around 90 people.

Technology

The range of surface treatments to improve the properties of product increase so dramatically that designers and engineers completely lost their way. The key question – which coating offers for a specific application the cheapest and best combination of the requested properties (corrosion resistance, wear resistance, appearance, colour etc.) -  is often hard to answer. It is one of the tasks of AHC Benelux to support companies herein.

Due to sophisticated and unique surface technology in combination with an excellent reputation in the field of technical know-how, high quality and flexible delivery times AHC Benelux BV is a solid partner with lots of experience.

We work very closely with our customers and we see even the highest demand  as a challenge we’d  like to take. Doing this we optimize existing methods and applications as well as develop new treatments and procedures.

Our "Technology Management" department plays an important role and is constantly up-to-date with regards to technological developments. Therefore AHC Benelux BV is able to act  quickly and adequately to future changes.

Technology transfer based on tailor made workshops and seminars has a great importance to us. Passing our knowledge to our customers builds not a strong relationship but strengthened the market position of both, customer and AHC.

Most of our coatings provide your parts against sticking, friction, chemical attack and wear.

These coatings are FDA/USDA compliant and , some types are resistant against aggressive cleaning agents. They have

excellent non-stick properties and a very low coefficient of friction. Variants can be used in high temperature environments

up to 420° C.
