A vertical condensate pump is a component disposed in a vertical direction of a evaporative condenser. An evaporative condenser is a device which facilitates the condensation, or return to a liquid state, of a hot gas or vapor in a tube system using the evaporation of water flowing over the tubes. In simple terms, an evaporative condenser uses a system of tubes exposed to a constant flow of water to cool and condense a hot gas. The cooling and subsequent condensation of the gas is caused by a process of heat transfer that takes place when the water flowing over the gas-filled tubes evaporates. This process is used extensively in the air conditioning industry as a means of condensing refrigerant gas.
