Established exclusively as a resource for difficult-to-find specialty valves in 1991, AIV sought to carve a niche in an area of valve distribution which was little explored at the time. AIV's reputation as a leader in this arena quickly grew as members of the industry came to depend on our successful and timely acquisition of valves that others had been unable to locate, and get them shipped out immediately.
Over the years, AIV has evolved into one of the premier master distributors of valves to the petrochemical community. Serving strictly supply companies, AIV has grown its inventory to $34M with at least $17M on order at all times. Our family of manufacturers include Kitz, Walworth, Crane, Powell, AIL, Bonney Forge, Vogt, Edward, KF Industries, Flowseal, Centerline, Duo-Chek, Stockham, TBV, Cooper, Aloyco, and Lunkenheimer.
Pursuing both domestic and international sales and with further growth in mind, AIV recently moved into a new 130,000 square foot facility. Not an organization to sit still, AIV has added yet another facet to our innovative strategy of valve distribution. Under the same roof and the same ownership, we have assembled a state of the art valve modification shop which occupies over 50,000 square feet. Authorized by virtually every manufacturer in the AIV valve family and able to perform virtually any imaginable valve modification, Gulf Coast Modification greatly enhances AIV's offering to the marketplace. AIV's goal: Optimizing our sales and service to the industrial community while perfecting our role in the distribution of petrochemical and industrial valves.
